And, behold, there came a prophet unto Ahab king of Israel, saying, Thus saith the LORD, Hast thou seen all this great multitude? behold, I will deliver it into thine hand this day; and thou shalt know that I [am] the LORD.

Ver. 13. And, behold, there came a prophet.] Michaiah, as some think; or one of those haply that were hid by Obadiah.

Behold, I will deliver it into thine hand.] Ahab was lewd, saith a reverend man, but Benhadad insolent. If therefore Ahab shall be scourged with the rod of Benhadad's fear, Benhadad shall be smitten with the sword of Ahab's revenge.
