Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away in his transgression, have we prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they [are] before the altar of the LORD.

Finding the winds favourable in his navigation, Lo, said he, how the gods approve of sacrilege! But he should have remembered that Nondum omnium dictum sol occiderat, his sin would shortly find him out.
