Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy [place] unto the God of Israel.
Ver. 7. Unto the God of Israel.] Whom they have sacrilegiously robbed and wronged. We should be sensible of, and humbled for, the sins of our forefathers, else we are justly chargeable with them.
