Ver. 27. Your fathers have blasphemed me.] Because they trembled not at my judgments while they hung in the threatenings, but went on wilfully in their wickedness, putting it to the venture. This is a kind of blasphemy. Compare Numbers 15:30,31. This is a sin scarce to be expiated with any sacrifice: such a sinner must be cut off.
