Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

Ver. 8. Which are offered by the law] To the great cost and charge of the offerers. This we are freed from, and are required no more than to cover God's altar with the calves of our lips.
