Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD hath not sent thee; but thou makest this people to trust in a lie.

Ver. 15. Thou makest this people to trust in a lie.] Who loved to have it so, Jer 5:31 and were therefore justly left to obduration and horrible destruction.
