Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!
Ver. 47. Behold an Israelite, &c.] Here Christ wondereth at his own work of renovation, as wonderful, doubtless, as that of creation. Or the upright person hath here an ecce behold, for imitation, as the hypocrite for detestation, Psalms 52:7 .
