Ver. 12. Know ye what I have done to you?] This was our Saviour's usual order, to catechise his disciples after he had said or done anything for their instruction. So did the apostles, Galatians 6:6, 1 Corinthians 14:19, and the primitive pastors; they had their Credis? credo: Abrenuncias? abrenuncio, as it were by an echo, as the word importeth.
