And the glory which thou, &c.] That is, the grace, which is glory begun, as glory is grace perfected; we are here "transformed into the same image from glory to glory," 2 Corinthians 3:18; "and set together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus," Ephesians 2:6; "Such honour have all his saints." Such things are found in them as do accompany or comprehend salvation, Hebrews 6:9, εχομενα, τουτ εστι κατεχομενα. Scholiast.
