And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: [yea, though he be] a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.

Ver. 35. That he may live with thee,] i.e., Live in good fashion; for a necessitous life is a lifeless life. Thus shall ye say to him that liveth. 1Sa 25:6 So John 4:50, "Thy son liveth."
