Ver. 10. I bring you good tidings] The first preacher of the gospel was an angel. God hath now taken this honour from the angels, and put it upon the ministers, who are in Scripture called angels,Revelation 2:1, and angels ministers,Hebrews 1:14. The old church had επαγγελιαν, the promise, we have ευαγγελιαν, the joyful tidings.
