And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.
Ver. 24. Until the times of the Gentiles] The Gentiles then shall not always tread down Jerusalem. Those kings of the East, the Jews, may, likely, have their way prepared to it, through Euphrates, Revelation 16:12, and Jerusalem be again inhabited by them, even in Jerusalem, Zechariah 12:6. But this will be not long before the last day, Luke 21:25 .
