When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Ver. 17. He saith unto them] Though not for their sakes (for he knew it was to no purpose) yet for his other hearers' sakes, he makes apology, Jeremiah 3:14,15. God often gives a pastor after his own heart, for a few that are to be converted.
