The LORD on high [is] mightier than the noise of many waters, [yea, than] the mighty waves of the sea.
Ver. 4. The Lord on high is mightier] He defeats tyrants and persecutors, be they never so terrible for noise and number. If he but thunder they are hushed, and glad to wriggle, as worms, into their holes.
