But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods. But they hearkened not -
1. They disregarded the authority of their God.
2. They were not moved by the entreaties of their most affectionate Father.
3. In abominations they delighted. And,
4. They loved that which God hated; and, apparently, because he hated it.
