Bible Comments

But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. Under his vine and under his fig tree - A proverbial expression, indicative of perfect peace, security, and rural comfort. See on Isaiah 2:1 (note). This verse is an addition to the prophecy as it stands in Isaiah. See Clarke on Micah 4:1 (note).
