Psalms 89:7 - Clarke's commentary and critical notes on the Bible

Bible Comments

God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him. God is greatly to be feared - In all religious assemblies the deepest reverence for God should rest upon the people. Where this does not prevail, there is no true worship. While some come with a proper Scriptural boldness to the throne of grace, there are others who come into the presence of God with a reprehensible, if not sinful, boldness.

Psalms 89:7
