Aroer - the modern 'Ar'ar'ah, situated somewhere in Wady Ar'ar'ah, which was not far from Beer-sheba.
Siphmoth - not identified.
Eshtemoa - now Semu'a (see the note at Joshua 15:50; Joshua 21:14).
