As this is the first necessity of the sinner, so it is the first experienced blessing of the Gospel. The expression "through this Person" х dia (G1223) toutou (G5127)] is of course to be connected with "forgiveness" (not the 'preaching' of it), and the meaning is, 'forgiveness through this Person is preached unto you.'
