As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered - i:e., in the day that He is in the midst of х bªtowk (H8432)] his sheep that had been scattered. Referring to Messiah's second advent, when He shall be "the glory in the midst of Jerusalem" (Zechariah 2:5).

And will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day - the day of the nation's calamity (Joel 2:2).
