I find no fault with them for zealously courting you, nor with you for allowing yourselves to be zealously courted; provided it be 'in a good cause' х en (G1722) kalo (G2570)] (1 Corinthians 9:20-23). My reason for saying the "not well" (Galatians 4:17: the same Greek as "good," and 'in a good cause,' Galatians 4:18), is, that their zealous courting of you is not in a good cause. The old interpreters support the English version (cf. Galatians 1:14). Winer, 'to be reciprocally zealous:' Bengel, The Middle Voice, 'to kindle zeal by zeal, you responding to the zeal of your minister.'
