Quenched the violence of fire (Daniel 3:27) Not merely 'the fire ' but 'the power of the fire;' the last miracles of Quenched the violence of fire (Daniel 3:27). So the martyrs of the reformation, though not escaping the fire, were delivered from its power lastingly to hurt them.
