Bible Comments

And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not afraid of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.

Servants of the king of Assyria - literally, the youths, boys, mere lads, implying disparagement, The Hebrew ( na`ªreey (H5288)) is different from that for "servants" ( `abdeey (H5650)) in Isaiah 37:5.

Have blasphemed me - (Isaiah 36:20.) The blasphemy is not merely against you; it is against ME. This is a pledge that I must vindicate my honour against them, and save you.
