Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day:

Dawning of the day - literally, eyelashes of morning; х bª`ap`apeey (H6079)] eyelashes, х shaachar (H7837)] morning. The Arab poets call the sun the eye of day. His early rays, therefore, breaking forth through the ruddy sky before sunrise, are the opening eyelids or eyelashes of morning.
