Then he said unto them, O fools, х Oo (G5599) anoeetoi (G453)] - This is too strong a word. Our Lord never calls, His true disciples "fools" х mooroi (G3474)]. It should be, 'O senseless;' that is, void of discernment.
And slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken! - or 'spake' х elaleesan (G2980)].
