So are the ways of every one that is greedy of gain; which taketh away the life of the owners thereof.
So (are) the ways of every one that is greedy of gain - literally, 'of every one greedy of greed;' of everyone snatching at rapine. On "so are the ways" - i:e., such is the portion at last-cf. Job 8:13.
