Proverbs 16:28 - Commentary Critical and Explanatory on the Whole Bible

Bible Comments

A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.

A froward man soweth (Hebrew, sendeth in) strife; and a whisperer separateth chief friends. The Hebrew for "chief friends" х 'aluwp (H441)] means a prince, a husband, a leading one among the most trusted intimate friends. A whisperer, if listened to, separates between people and prince, between husband and wife, between friend and friend.

Proverbs 16:28
