One might may as to Proverbs 27:1, Though I may not 'boast of tomorrow,' and of what I shall do in it, surely I may boast of what I have already done. Nay, thou shouldest not boast of thine own doings at all, but leave it to another, or even a stranger (who cannot be biased in judgment by partiality), to praise thee. "A stranger," if there were any reason to blame, would not hesitate to do so.
