Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.

Let the lying lips ... grievous things - or 'hard things,' as the Hebrew is translated, Psalms 94:4 х `aataq (H6275)]; properly, what is hardened by age: so here, reckless speeches flowing from hardened wantonness in lying.
