Psalms 17:7 - Ellicott's Commentary On The Whole Bible

Bible Comments

Shew. — Literally, Separate; but (comp. Psalms 4:3), from its use to express God’s providential care of Israel in distinction to other nations, acquires in addition the idea of wonder and miracle (Exodus 8:22; Exodus 9:4; Exodus 11:7, &c). The LXX. and Vulgate, “make thy mercies appear wonderful.”

Psalms 17:7

7 Shew thy marvellous lovingkindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them.
