images. Hebrew. hammanim, sun-idols. Compare Leviticus 26:1; 2 Chronicles 34:4. This was prophetic.

idols. logs of wood. Hebrew. gallulim, trunks, blocks, used in derision for idols. Also derived from galal = dung, or detestable thing. First occurrence; frequently in Ezekiel.

My soul. Hebrew. nephesh. App-13. Figure of speech Anthropopatheia. App-6. This is the converse of verse Leviticus 26:11.

Leviticus 26:30

30 And I will destroy your high places, and cut down your images, and cast your carcases upon the carcases of your idols, and my soul shall abhor you.
