My bowels, my bowels! the whole inner part of the man quaking with terror. I am pained at my very heart! or, I feel the pain of a severe cramp the chambers of my heart! My heart maketh a noise in me, moaning with the severity of the affliction; I cannot hold my peace because thou hast heard, O my soul, the sound of the trumpet, the alarm of war, the shout of battle, as the enemy advances to subdue the land of Israel.
