The lion; either the devil, that raging and roaring lion, who did many ways assault and annoy him; or his lionlike enemies. Heard me, i.e. answered and delivered me. Unicorn; a strong, and fierce, and untamable wild beast; though the learned are not agreed about the kind of it.
