Through the righteousness of God, and our Saviour Jesus Christ— Through the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ—through which, sinful as we are, if we believe, we obtain acceptance with the Father—even through that atonement which our Divine Redeemer has made for the justification of all that yield to be saved by grace. The order of the original words justifies the translation which I have given above. It is observable, that the order in the next verse is different, and determines it to the translation there used.
