Thine eyes like the fish-pools— The author of the New Translation gives us a true idea of the simile here used: Thine eyes are clear and serene as the pools in Heshbon, by the gate of Beth-rabbim [which was one of the gates of Heshbon].

4 Thy neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus.
