Titus 2:10 - Coke's Commentary on the Holy Bible

Bible Comments

Not purloining,— Not privately defrauding or embezzling— Μη νοσφιζομενους : which properly signifies keeping back part of the worth of any thing, and is used in the case of Ananias's secreting a part, where the whole was pretended to be returned, Acts 5:2-3. Servants, at least among the Heathens, might probably do this very frequently.

Titus 2:10

10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
