And it shall come to pass in that day, [that] his burden shall be taken away from off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.
Ver. 27. And the yoke shall be destroyed, because of the anointing.] That is, because or for the sake of Messiah the Prince, Dan 9:25 the Lord Christ, our Sωτηρ and Sospitator, the foundation of all the Church's deliverances. The whole chapter following is a comment on this sweet promise.
