For thou, Lord, [art] good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Ver. 5. For thou, Lord, art good, &c.] Lord, I am hell, but thou art heaven, said that martyr; faith wrappeth herself up in the promise, and goeth boldly to God by prayer.
