Delta G f g have "among you;" join it with "set forth." 'Aleph (') A C B C omit it. The perfect participle implies, 'in His permanent character as the crucified.' As Christ was "crucified," so ye ought to have been by faith "crucified with Christ" "to the law" (Galatians 2:19-20). Reference to the "eyes" is appropriate, as fascination was exercised through the eyes. The sight of Christ crucified ought to have counteracted all fascination.
