She obeyed not the voice Namely, of God's messengers, the prophets. She received not correction Or instruction, as מוסר may be rendered: she did not attend to it; was not amended by it. She trusted not in the Lord Did not place her confidence and hopes in the power and goodness of God, but in other things. She drew not near to God In prayer and praise, and other acts of worship.
