Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies - To their soul בנפש benephesh; their whole soul thirsts for my destruction. Let them not be gratified. They have suborned witnesses against me, but they are false witnesses: unmask their wickedness, and confound their counsels.
