Isaiah 35:3,4 - Coke's Commentary on the Holy Bible

Bible Comments

Strengthen ye the weak hands— These words seem rightly to be understood as an address of the prophet to the teachers of the church of that time whereof he speaks, exhorting them, from the promise of the certain deliverance and glorious restoration of the oppressed and afflicted church, to comfort the dejected minds of the pious, and raise their drooping spirits. See Hebrews 12:12.

Isaiah 35:3-4

3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.

4 Say to them that are of a fearfula heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
